65 DOES 66 (OAP rides 363 miles from Chicago to St. Louis on historic Route 66)

As I turned 65, it seemed that I should do something altruistic, that at the same time would be a testament to becoming an OAP (Old Age Pensioner). We have supported Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres as it is known in Europe) for many years, and with all the strife currently in the world, this seemed like an excellent moment to raise both some money for them and hopefully the awareness of them as an aid organization.
For those of you that are in the UK, and would like to support Medecins Sans Frontieres through their UK site so that MSF can claim back the tax, we have set up a “Just Giving” site for this fundraiser which you can get to by clicking on the ”UK Donations” tab above.
Doctors Without Borders / MSF will track donations made through the UK site and add the amounts manually into the total on the US site.
Take a look at the Blog via the tab above to read about each day’s progress, and the GPS Tracks tab lets you see the details of the route for each day, together with all the day’s statistics.
